As an intern for Michigan Creative, the summer of 2012, I was put on a project for the University of Michigan's Division of Public Safety and Security DPSS. The Michigan Creative Team asked me to create a concept and storyboard to attract freshmen orientation students with a hilarious but serious animation about safety and general awareness as a student on University of Michigan's campus. Much like my inspiration for the concept, the viral "Dumb Ways to Die" campaign, this animation has the importance of delivering a memorable message to thousands. It is shown to University of Michigan's incoming freshmen during their orientation week and reminds them to "Be Smart."

Animation by Shannon Kohlitz | Song by Dick Siegel.
